Sister did GAD,but can't go, what are our options

My sister and her husband did GAD and have vouchers but can't go now, so is the only option they have is to donate them? Is there anything else they could do with them? Thankyou in advance for your help.

If they cannot redeem them in person at WDW or Disneyland by December 15, they can donate them. I don't think Disney would be able to do anything else for you if the person whose name is on the voucher is not present to redeem it. I'm not sure anyone has tried to get the figurine and pins by mail, and I can't imagine they would give the ticket or FP cards to someone else.

The vouchers can only be redeemed in person with a state (or federal) issued photo ID. The only other option is to notify Disney that they cannot be used and they will be donated to an organization by Disney.

Thankyou for the responses, I pretty much figured that's what they would have to do with their vouchers but thought I'd ask the experts first. My sister doesn't want to go to Disney World,I know I don't think it's normal either, but what can I say, some get it and some don't.I hope that by her donating them though that it is spreading a little pixie dust to some other children and brightens their day.Thankyou again.Have a magical day!

We had a friend who went and she claims she used her sister's ID to redeem it.

I guess it would be difficult to really id they're not the same person if they looked alike.

How do I go about handling this? My older daughter and I will be using ours on July 2nd, but my younger daughter will not be joining us. I definitely want hers donated!
