sinister soiree or mvmcp?

I have tickets to the Sinister Soiree for Oct 2, but im seriously reconsidering. It doesn't seem worth it, for us. DH has expressed some interest in mvmcp, especially if we can meet Scrooge McDuck. We will be there in mid November, and can work a party into our plans easy enough. So, what would you do? We're 2 adults, not all that into meeting characters (save a select few). Wil Scrooge even be at the party?

We went to two MVMCP parties back in 2012 & Scrooge was there.

Scrooge was also at MVMCP last year.

I would choose MVMCP over the Soirée because you'll be able to fully experience two parties.
