I'm a potential cruise newbie and am thinking about going next year. It would be me and my baby sister (7yo at the time).

My questions...

Is she too young for a trip with just the two of us?

Is there enough for us to do if she doesn't want to go to the clubs?

Is there enough for me to do if she does want to do the clubs?

If we had to choose between WDW and the cruise would you have a preference? (She will have been to WDW 2-3 times by then.)

Any single adult or single w/ child you might have would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Thanks!!

As a single parent I took my 5 yo daughter last year, and I'm taking her again this year. My daughter liked the clubs, but didn't want to spend all her time there. There was plenty to do for both of us. Of course, I really enjoyed when she was in the club and I was in the spa!

If you look over on the Trip Reports board I think you'll find some helpful reports. I've read a few reports from single moms bringing their kids. Sounds like they all had a great time! :D

Hi,
I cruised with my DD4 in Oct. 2001 and I have to say this is the best thing going vacation wise for single parents. My DD loved the club and it allowed me time to myself. You have child care basically any time you want/need it for free right there on the ship. You are never very far away from each other.
