On what rides at IOA have single-rider lines? I think I read the Hulk does, but does Dueling Dragons? Also, how much time can I expect to save by doing this? And do you think the park will be busy tonight (from 6:00 to 10:00)? I just purchased an annual pass online and I work 5-8 minutes away, so I thought that I would have a little de-stressed fun at IOA tonight... lived in Orlando for 8 months and have only gone to IOA once (on Halloween Horror Nights). Thanks.

It depends how busy the park is, at peak time spiderman has single rider, never seen it on the hulk or anything else though (But I'm rarely there at peak times), usually when I am close to the front & I can see that a group of 3 are together I politely ask my way through the line to make them upto a 4, no-one has minded yet.
In US, MIB has a single rider line.

If it's bust just ask the attendant at the front of the line if you can go in the exit, no harm in asking!

Dr. Doom has it, and it works really good. Go in the arcade up the exit side and you'll see the sign.

On all the other coasters, I usually just wait in line, go for row 2, then get the front if an empty seat is there. Or I move up when a seat is available in my row.

Hard to say on Hulk, they used to have it, but may have changed it when they split the line for Express and Hotel guests.
I've never seen it on Dueling Dragons. If they do, you'd end up going to the exit, and asking the guard if they will let you go as a single. You'll probably go in the back like the baby swap people do.

I'd rather wait in row 2 and get a shot at the front row.

IOA has several rides with single rider lines. Dr. Doom's Fearfall has it. You have to enter it through the exit of the ride. Hulk's single rider line merges with Universal Express. Tell the ride op at the front you're a single rider and he'll let you through. As you enter the single rider line, take the first right as you approach the ride op who collects Express tickets. Spiderman has one too. It's to the left of the regular line. Look for the big sign by stroller parking that says "Single Riders." I've heard JPRA has one, but I've never seen it.

MIB at USF has a single rider line too. It's to the right of the entrance. Follow the signs to single riders.

I've heard JPRA has one, but I've never seen it.
I have seen it you go along the outside of the giftshop and end up at the Baby Swap.

This maybe a bit late now but, when I was riding MIB @ US, I initially went in through the single rider line but then cut through the baby swap area to avoid walking all the way around, they did not mind at all.

Well, Friday went pretty well. I couldn't get on The Hulk as a single rider, the CM said that the fastpass was closed though and the wait wasn't really horrible. Great ride for the wait though! I then went on Dr. Doom, I loved their single rider line! I swear, the group lines had to wait for 30-40 minutes, when I entered through the exit and waited only 3 minutes... too short of a thrill ride for me though. I then made my way to Dueling Dragons where I rode on it 5 times non-stop, no lines at all. After the 4th time I was feeling a little sick and the 5th time sent me overboard. I had to get something to eat after that, so I went to the superhero area and got a bite to eat. Bad thing is after I was done it was pouring rain, so I just gave up because all of the good rides closed at this point (rollercoasters + dr. doom). I left work at 4:50 and got to the Universal parking lot at 4:56... for timing like that I will definatly have to go again!

One quick question... their computers were down when I went to pick up my Annual Pass, so they gave me a complimentary day pass so I could get in. Does that mean that my annual pass hasn't been activated yet, so the 365 day countdown hasn't started? It really doesn't matter because I'll still go again in 2 weeks or so, but it's just something to think about.

You are correct they haven't activated your annual pass until you get the card with your picture on it.

As for single rider lines, last summer Jaws had one, but I haven't seen it since.

Dudley Do right has doubles or singles line. Dr Doom has it, Hulk, .spiderman...and i dunno what else...popeys MAYhave it....hope this helps...

If you're getting an annual pass then you shouldn't be worrying yourself too much about how long the waits will be or whats open when. Like you said yourself, you'll be back the next week, so there's no point in fretting about missing something during your trips. As an annual pass holder, especially one that lives right in Orlando, you have the freedom to relax and pick and choose what you want to do on each trip.

If you've never been on Spider-Man, then the first time you may want to use the single rider line, but at some point be sure to go through the regular line (and express line) to see all the great detailed theming. The same with Dueling Dragons and Dr. Doom. You may also want to not worry so much about just the rides and enjoy the great themed atmospher that Universal has created all around.

I've never seen one on Popeye. Dudley used to have a double rider line, but they've changed the seat configuration so everyone has individual seats, so I'm not sure if that's still in existence.

I love the single rider lines, but unfortunately on Saturday, it seemed like the idea had caught on to all the spring breakers.

The wait for the Spidey single rider line was probably 30 mins (as opposed to 75 on the regular side) and 45 mins as opposed to 75 on Hulk.

So it still saves time, but not as much.

MIB also was packed, but it went through pretty quickly.

thanks for the info on this-I will definitely use these lines on my next trip (I will have a day to myself in the parks)
