Only nine short days until we head back to VWL.

I can't wait to be back "home". We haven't down since last May and it feels like forever.

I am planning to do a live trip report with mainly pictures.

Don't forget your sunblock and flip-flops.

I am dreading the heat and sun with our 2 small children. We are planning to sleep in and spend time at the Lodge and then go into the parks after the sun has started to set. Even with rope drop it starts to get hot so quickly! We are headed back down in November so we will use that trip to enjoy the parks and this one to enjoy the wonderful lodge.

I loved your pictures. I was just there the beginning of June with my 2 children and thier families. We were at the SSR Tree houses than on the Disney Dream. It already feels like a long time ago. But I enjoyed having fun with my Grandchildren. Have a GREAT time. I have never stayed at WLV. It looks beautiful there.

I would love to stay at the Tree Houses some time, they seem like something you would find in a paracosm. We do not own at SSR, so booking one will be very difficult. I think it would be better to wait until our kids are older so the bus transfers are easier. I am looking forward to trips sans strollers.

We would also like to experience a Disney cruise in the future, but once again I think it is best to wait until the kids are a little older. We used to cruise before kids, but never on Disney. I am curious to see how Disney includes their pixie dust on-board.

We have a hard time not stopping here for a cupcake on the way out of the MK. The best on property IMHO. I am excited to see the Confectionery after the recent freshing up. If I close my eyes I can smell the sticky, sweet smells that fill the air! The 17th can't come fast enough!

We'll be there a week from today (on the 18th) for ten days for the first part of our vacation (we will end it this year with 5 days at the Portofino Bay hotel at Universal).

Tom Sawyer Island is one of the most magical areas of the MK. I only wish they would open Aunt Polly's. I miss the days of eating ice cream sundaes and watching the activity in Frontierland and the Liberty Belle making her rounds.

6 more days and I will dance with you!!! I am also not looking forward to the heat but hey 90 and humid in MA is no different than 90 and humid in FLA.....
