Single Day Pass question...

If you buy a single day pass, go to the Magic Kingdom in the morning. Then leave to go back to your hotel and want to return to the Magic Kingdom later at night, all you need is a hand stamp and your day pass, correct?

That is correct! This is true for all forms of tickets--hoppers and single day. The only admission ticket you don't need a hand stamp with is an annual pass.
