It's been over a decade for me since doing Fantasmic at DHS, so I'm not sure how things are now. But my basic trick to getting out of the late night shows is to go with the flow as it exits, trying hard to stay together, but work my way to the side of the exiting crowd. That way, you only have to worry about rudeniks pushing past on one side of you, and if there's a store open, you can make it inside and catch your breath.When we went in 2011, we didn't see Fantasmics. It's not my favorite show anyway, but the main reason is that I despise leaving there. It's down right scary getting out of there with young kids. It's the worse layout.
Our kids want to see it on our next trip and we'll do it. But, I'm telling you, I dread exiting.
The idea is that being one of the last people out is far more relaxing than trying to be one of the first.
