Since the castle is out of commission....pictures!?

Where else do they have photographers around the park....it is our tradition to have a castle shot when we go to WDW. Kinda disappointed DL castle is out....boo hoo.

Where else would be a good family picture?

As of this past week, you could still have a picture taken in front of the castle...they haven't done anything to it yet.
They had photographers just inside the gates, with Mickey and the train depot in the background, pictures with Mickey in his house in Toon Town, and in a lot of locations inside California Adventure: in front of Tower of Terror, under the Golden Gate Bridge, at the entrance to Paradise Pier.......
You'll have a lot of choices, and maybe you'll be lucky & still be able to to do it front of the castle.

Id think a group pic in front of the train station/mickey in flowers would be pretty- or by Small World- or with the Twain in the background-

Or my personal fav spot in all of DL- Court of the Angels back in New Orleans Square- a gorgeous staircase covered in flowers- Course there isnt a DL photoperson there- but usually people will take pics for ya-

I don't know when they are planning to start work on the castle, but we just got back yesterday and everything was normal around the castle. There were photographers everywhere.

Oh good!! I saw pictures somewhere (another site), of what the castle is supposed to look like for the celebration next year. It looks really pretty!

That's not bad--I was afraid it would look like a giant birthday cake like they had at WDW for it's 25th.
