Never fails. The minute I sit down with the paper, he comes and lays right on top of what I'm reading.

Cats are cute that way aren't they. Mine does the same thing.

I just pull the papers one at a time out from underneath of her and pile them on top of her when I am done with them

I do that too. But then he thinks it's a game. He crawls out from underneath them and pounces on them. My newspaper is always crumpled.

Yup, and you gotta watch those claws when you are pulling on those papers too!!!!!

Mine likes to try and "catch" the pen when I am writing something, too. That is great fun too.

Oh yes! If I'm writing checks and the cat is "helping" me, it always looks like I have seriously illegible handwriting.

That's too cute. I think cats think the cursor moving is a bug or something. My cat jumps on my lap while I'm at the keyboard, which makes it very difficult to type. But I don't complain because he's very much a "people" cat - I know there are cats that aren't.

when shadow is inside, he'll lay his head on my wrist and add his paw to the mouse hand,, i guess hes helping me..lol...he'll also try and type if i leave the key board out and get up andwalk away, coco and shadow both like to watch t v,, they sit onthe coffee table where mom cant see and will move to stay between her and tv.

We had a Siamese when I was growing up that would lay on top of the TV (where it was warm) and leave her tail hanging down on the set. That used to drive my mom crazy! Of course, this was in the days of the 19" TV, now a days you wouldn't even notice, cause the screens are so big!
