Simpsons replace BTTF???? Your thoughts.....

BTTF was THE main reason I go to Universal, so needless to say, I'm less excited for our trip this week. I was able to ride it 4 times this year before they closed it and at that time I was ok with it being taken out. Seeing pictures of the Delorean outside being replaced with potted plants just depresses the crap out of me though!

Simpsons will probably be a good ride...but in my opinion it could never come close to what BTTF was for Universal.

BTTF always hurt my shoulder and threw me around, fun ride but painful. My sentimental side says I wish it was staying, but my aging bones side says time for something new.

I saw the previews for the new Simpsons movie, it looked pretty good (considering I'm no simpsons fan and have never seen a show) I wonder if the ride will be based on the movie?

People always come out of the wood work when a ride is being removed.

Maintenance costs make it impossible to keep every ride from the beginning.

Out with the old, in with the new.

Notice the answer to the poll is "Make it a good ride."

In other words, the theaming matters, but it's the ride people care about the most.
