I am waiting to know myself too.

I go to the website daily and nothing. All it posts is the california opening for may 17. I fear it may end up opening till June.. But i am no expert

Annual Passholder Previews are currently set for April 17th.

This could be pushed back again but it should be soft opening on or around that day and should be open for your date.

Where is the info on the passholder previews? I have a pass and would like to go, but want to be fairly certain it is happening that day...

I just called the passholder hotline. I was told they don't have dates yet for even the employee preview. He said they are trying to get it open in april but again no dates have been set yet for employee preview, passholder preview or for just opening the ride.

That's true...nothing official has been announced but the newest employee paper said soon and from what I saw of the building on Sunday, everything looked ready from the outside...except the wall of course.

Shouldn't be long now.

We will be there too ... You will NOT be able to miss us though we will have matching T-Shirts for my DD sweet 16 . I hope the ride is open and we get to ride if not we will have to wait till 2010 !!! So we can wrap up Harry Potter the new coaster and maybe simpsons and anything else that gets thrown in there .

The April 17th date was also from a call to Universal. 8am-9am (i.e. Passholders would be allowed entry into the park first to ride it). But then another call had absolutely no information.

But of course dates are subject to change, take with a huge grain of salt, etc.

I wouldn't plan any visit out there in hopes to ride without more of an official confirmation.

I'm hoping for some time in the next two weeks for TM previews, but I'm not holding my breath. It will happen when it does.

Screamscape reported April 17-20 from 8-9am (take it with a grain of salt) so I'll hit the 19th and 20th..if they don't change the dates.

I read that on screamscape too . I just hope they are right . My "package" I booked through universal comes with a "free" simpsons t-shirt . Since I am there from 4/30 -5/4 I am hopeful that the ride will be open .

Nah...you're never too old for coasters. They'll have to pick me out of the wheelchair but my backside is going on the coasters.
