I was in Wal-Mart yesterday and there was a clerk standing handing out
samples of "SIMPLY SLEEP" by Tylenol!

Has anyone seen this or tried it? I have been having allot of trouble lately (last 6 months) with sleeping. I was just wondering if this was something
that helped anyone.

I am not looking for anything heavy duty but something mild that I could take from time to time....nothing habit-forming. I know I will get through this but thought something like this might just help (do the trick?)!!

ANYONE???

T.I.A.

My DH travels about twice a month and I hate sleeping alone so I always take my Simply Sleep. I love it, I find no side effects and I am not groggy in the morning. I take two at 9:30 and by 11:00 I can't keep my eyes open and I am out for the count!

Simply Sleep is "Simply Diphenhydramine" - or as many of us know it - Benadryl.

So if you want something to help you to sleep I would suggest a generic form of Benadryl. You will be getting the same medication and at a cheaper price. :)

PS - This IS a great medication for helping you to get to sleep AND for allergic reactions. It is DDs drug of choice when she gets itchy eyes from airborn allergins and from being around our cats too much.

It is Tylenol PM without the Tylenol...Which as someone else said, means it is just benadryl.

Tylenol PM is tylenol with benadryl.

As someone who uses Tylenol PM almost nightly, it does work if you are suffering from chronic insomnia. It is a bad habit but when your only choice is sleep or no sleep, sleep wins. My doctor knows I take it and she is fine with it, she prefers people without risk factors use it over Lunestra. I know, I've asked more than once.

I take Simply Sleep on occasion. It's mild, nothing heavy duty, and helps put me to sleep. I usally wakeup feeling more rested (I wake up a lot at night sometimes).

The generic brands are the exact same thing and MUCH cheaper.. I've used them on occasion and have had no problems..:)

I take it once in a while if I don't have to wake up early the next morning. I sleep well with it but I still end up groggy when I wake up.

Before they sold Simply Sleep in Canada I used to go across the border to find it. I could have kicked myself when I found out it's the same as Benadryl!

Since I'm the world's CHEAPEST human being I always read "active ingredients" of generics and compare to the name brand. WalMart sells a generic "Simply Sleep" for about a dollar for 10.

You can get generic benedryl for about $3.99/100.

Don't waste your money on slick packaging and ad campaigns. Like an earlier post mentioned it is just Benadryl. We buy Equate "Benadryl" in a bottle. There are 100 pills in the bottle. Cheapest sleep aid ever! :thumbsup2
