Simple question about poly concierge

So I think we finally decided to stay at poly concierge (after much debate between BW BC and YC and Poly). Anyways, my question is how late is the club open? I mean, could you get a cup of coffee or a soda or a cookie or something at 2 am? We are night owls so this would be great for us!

From what I have read they keep the soda machine stocked 24 hours, however I am not sure about the other stuff you mentioned. I will know for sure next month when my family and I are staying Concierge at the Polynesian.

The lounge will have posted hours, they will not be open at 2am. I think 10pm is the latest. I suggest you plan ahead and have something in your room for late night munchies.

Hours of Service for Food and Beverage Offerings:

6:30 am - 7:00am

Coffee
7 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. -- Kakahiaka - Morning Service

Continental breakfast featuring: fresh fruits, juices, pastries, bagels, English muffins, oatmeal, cereals, coffee and assorted teas.

12:00pm - 4 p.m. -- Auinala - Afternoon Service

A variety of fresh fruits, cookies (oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, sugar) and other snacks, including gummy worms, Goldfish crackers, trail mix. Also available: Guava juice, lemonade, tea, coffee, bottled water and sodas.

5 - 7 p.m. -- Ahiahi - Evening Service

Light hors d'oeuvres, including fresh fruit, veggies and dip, cheese and crackers, cookies, and hot appetizers, wines (cabernet, white zinfandel, and chardonnay). Children's snacks, including Smuckers "Uncrustables" peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and gummy worms.

8 - 10 p.m. -- Aumoe - Late Evening Service

Sampling of desserts (miniature eclairs, cream puffs, etc. ) and cordials, including Amaretto, Grand Marnier, Courvasier, and Franjelico.

Hmmm, that is weird, because I thought I read here that one of the benefits of the poly lounge was that it was open, at least for soda's, about 24 hours a day.

I know at the Yacht club they lock the lounge and clean it after hours. I don't remember at the Polynesian if they left it open after hours or not. But I know there was no food, as to drinks we got a couple during the day and put them in the frig, in our room.

Seems they left some drinks on ice in the lounge there after hours but they did not last long, so it was never a guarantee they would be there.

I would plan ahead and put a few in your room frig.

I haven't been there for a couple of years, but the last time we were there, everything was stripped out of the lounge after hours--and they closed promptly at 10:00 pm.

This has always been our experience as well. Why not grab a cookie and sodas ealier (even from Captain Cook's) and keep them in your room when you're up late?

I don't remember about the food, my guess is some of the snacks are left out until they're gone [like nuts, gummies, etc.].

Unless they've changed something since August they normally shut down as soon as the fireworks were finished. We always take a couple things back to the room with us as the kids normally swim quite late and want something afterwards.

There were never any snacks left out in the middle of the night during any of our stays. We experienced the same as DUCKLITE......food cleaned up promptly at 10pm.
