We are seriously considering adding the Silver Plan to our Fairytale Pkg. We normally wouldn't consider it, but this time we are travelling with friends and DH may actually get to golf!!!

B/c golf is pretty expensive and we do eat at least one "good" restaurant each day it is starting to look cost effective for us.

My questions are 1) Is October 21-29 consider peak or off-peak for golf 2) Where are the special viewing areas for parades and Illuminations 3) what restaurants, other than V&A are excluded and 4) how do you go about making ressies for things (Cirque de Soleil (sp) and golf tee times) before checking in?

Any information or opinions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Bumping for you. Hopefully someone will be able to answer your questions. Enjoy your vacation! :D

we went on silver plan last year and i dont think we used the special parade areas. you get a list when your info arrives from wdw. but we love the plan as we really enjoy eating at all of the great places there. be sure and tell the waitresses when you order. they usually help make sure you get the most out of each meal.

but if you check out Deb's site under 2003 packages it will give you an idea of what is included and how many wishes each is.

Just remember in order to get your money's worth, make sure you spend more than $34.00 per wish.

As far as the viewing area, I think it will be crowded! It's included with every FT Package!LOL

Sorry can't give you more details but here are some phone #

Have fun planning!

Two years ago we had the package with the wishes, can't remember the name of the package off hand now. Anyway, we used the viewing for illuminations and it wasn't very good. We could have found better viewing on our own. We loved using the wishes, though. We are using the silver plan on our Oct visit....Susan

I agree with the previous post that the viewing areas weren't that great...but the dining options made up for it, imo. With the silver plan, whatever meal you choose to use it on, you get an appetizer, entree, dessert, one hot beverage and one cold beverage. We would have never know this except a CM at our resort told us! That easily puts you on the mark to get your money's worth if you eat at places besides counter service. We used wishes at our character meals and also the Hoop De Do Review and Fulton's Crab House. It was nice to eat at some of the nicer places without worrying about the cost, and also the fact that the food was paid for before we ever even got there! Be sure to track your wishes though, we were there for 7 days, and on day 2, someone at a restaraunt messed up and typed in 22 wishes instead of 2!!! We spent the next couple of days paying for meals that should have been included, trying to figure out where we had used them all before asking at the desk of our resort. (I know, sounds stupid, but we did it) The CM put the 20 wishes back on, but by then we only had one day to use them all!!! Hope you have a great time!!! By the way, I think Cirque Du Soliel takes ressies up to a year in advance. I don't have any golfers, so I can't help you there....
