Silver Package Information needed

Just started thinking about the Silver package and wondering if it can be a good deal. We generally eat at least in one sit down restuarant a day and counter or food court for another meal. We typically only get 2 meals a day, because Disney serves so much food at their meals. We would probably use most of them for food or character meals.

A couple of question to help us decide.

1. Can the upgrade to Silver be added at anytime after making the deposit and up until what point can it be added?

2. Since a wish can be used at many of the WDW restuarants how does it work on a sit down meal that is alacart. Do you get an appetizer, Entree, dessert and beverage?

3. What about the counter service restuarant or food court, is everything you order covered or is there a $$ amount?

4. We are looking at the Dreams 5+2 package. Staying 7 nights, but arrive about 5pm the first day and
leave at 7am on 8th day. I assume you have to add the upgrade for each day you are there and each person on the package?

Thanks

Not sure about this but think you can add it up until after check in.

2. Since a wish can be used at many of the WDW restuarants how does it work on a sit down meal that is alacart. Do you get an appetizer, Entree, dessert and beverage?
That's absolutely correct.

3. What about the counter service restuarant or food court, is everything you order covered or is there a $$ amount?
The cost of wishes makes it a waste of money to use on counter service.

4. We are looking at the Dreams 5+2 package. Staying 7 nights, but arrive about 5pm the first day and

The package with the silver is a good deal only if you are arriving early and leaving late. You will do better to have a six day park hopper. It's up to you but you basically have a day of park pass you can't use. You have to do the math to figure it out but I would do that before booking. I wouldn't bother with the silver. Using all of your wishes AND getting your money's worth may be more of a challenge than it's worth.

Thanks

Yes, you can add the package at any time up until 5 days before arrival.I think.

Meals include:
BREAKFAST
(1)Juice
(1)Breakfast entree
(1)Coffee,tea, or hot chocolate
OR
(1) Full breakfast buffet

LUNCH/DINNER
(1)Appetizer
(1)Entree
(1)Dessert
(1)Soda, juice,milk,smoothie,milkshake,reg.coffee or tea
OR
Full Buffet

ALL APPLICABLE TAXES AND GATUITIES ARE INCLUDED.

3. What about the counter service restuarant or food court, is everything you order covered or is there a $$ amount?

]See above(#2)
But keep in mind that each adult wish costs you 34.00, and each child's wish 21.50.Therefore, in all likelyhood, you will not get your value out of counter service, and most of the time not out of a buffet.
However, if you eat at a few other high end restaurants, you will go over 34.00 and then a buffet or two will all balance out in the end.Does that make sense?
