I have been checking the SWA website and for flights over 2 hours which mine will be they give you a snack package. Has anyone ever gotten this, what is in it?

I don't think we will have time for breaky before we leave so just curious if this will tie us over until we get to Orlando which is only a 2.5 hour flight.

Thanks

On a recent trip from DTW to LAX, here is what we got;

First leg, DTW to BNA, beverage and a bag of Chex Mix

Next leg, BNA to LAX, a snack box with crackers, a piece of cheese and a meat stick with a beverage. Trust them when they say SNACK.

Knowing this, I stopped at Pannera Bread and bought a couple of sandwiches on the way to DTW and put them in my small lunchbox with a block of blue ice.

Let me tell you, I could have made a fortune on that plane :)

We flew recently roundtrip MHT to MCO and received the snack packs. They were the same each way and contained a package or oreos, teddy grahms, and ritz cheese crackers. The way home was a 7 AM flight and we were running late - it was oreos for breakfast that day! :rolleyes: The kids didn't seem to mind though. Drinks we ordered from the FA.

Thanks for posting this question. I'm going to be flying from NC to CA soon and also wondered what the "snack" would be. I will definitely try to pick up some "real food" before boarding now! :)
