Am I correct in understanding that when we check into our resort our keys will contain our tickets and dining credits all in one? Is it possible to have them issue just a key and separate card with the tickets and dining credits on it? I imagine it is, but thought I'd ask. I'd like to give my DD a separate key.

Thanks!

I believe you can have her card coded without dining or a credit line. It will still have her park ticket on it. I haven't done this for awhile, but that is the way it used to be.

What they told me was even the 7 year old would have a key card with all the other included. Why would you want it different? You mean in case it gets lost? I was glad not to have to worry about several different cards. I thought the dining plan would be a coupn book or something. I still have to read more about it.

Nope, coded onto your room key. Shows up as credits, slides through like a credit card.

What happens to leftover park admission days when you checkout?

Thanks,

Sheila

The extra park admissions expire within 14 days unless you purchase the no expiration option, then they just stay on your room key for you to use next time.

Well, I wanted it for two reasons. One, just thought we'd be safer giving her a key only so we didn't have to worry about lost tickets etc. Also, we're travelling with friends and will be sharing some babysitting for the younger kids so it would be nice if I could give them just a key in case they need to put the kids to bed.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure why that bothers me, but for some reason, I could see room keys as being harder to keep up with than the standard ticket media. Wonder if they would transfer these to individual tickets if we ask? I can also see a problem with our teen, who will probably not come back with us the next time and would prefer his to be separate.

They are separate - each ticket is on its own key. Is that what you mean?

Yes, thanks.

Will they be able to give us a printout at checkout showing the remaining ticket days on each? I'll stick it all in an envelope when I get home.

Sheila

Seems like it will be hard to keep track of what you have left as the days go by. We probably wouldn't know if it wasn't correct!!!

For the dining plan I believe you get a print out on the receipt that shows what was used and what is left. For the tickets, you can ask at guest relations to tell you what is left on the tickets and can write this down for later use.

Keep your receipts for the dining plan so you can track your credits. They can also tell you how many you have left and how many were used and where at the Lobby Concierge.

Did you pre-purchase your tickets on a package? Did they give you a will call number? If the tickets are pre-purchased on a package they will go on your room keys. If you have a will call number, they will be on a separate card. And if you are going to buy the tickets when you get there, it is up to you if they are on your room key or a separate card.
