We just bought in to DVC last week (SSR through Disney), paid the down payment and are waiting for our paperwork to come to the house!
Anyway, our Guide told us that we can go ahead and make reservations with our points. We didn't think to ask at the time, but who do we call to do this? Do I call our guide or just the basic 1-888-DVC-MAGIC number? Thanks!

You have to contact member services to book a reservation. The number is 407-566-3800. You will need your member number when calling up. You can also make reservations on the dvcmember website but you will have to wait until you receive your login information.

And for future reference, there is a toll-free number for Member Services, but it can not be posted here on the DIS. You can call your guide to get the number, or go ahead and use the 407 number.
