I'm a 33 y/o who has been going to Disney for the past 30 years. When my parents moved our family here in 1973, they scraped together enough money to take the 6 of us to WDW and buy tickets for the rides. My favorite was going on Dumbo with my daddy. It still is today. My parents took us at least every two years growing up, and often more then once in a year as I got older (and $ permitted), 30 years later. When I became an adult, I started buying myself annual passed (Seasonal), and more then getting my moneys' worth each year. Now, we have 2 sons. They are 1 and 3. My three year old never lets a day go by with out talking about Disney. He can't wait to celebrate his and his little brothers' birthday there this year. My little one saw Mickey Mouse on something in a store a couple of months ago and said "Mickey!" with a smile that lit up his whole little face, and I looked and saw a picture of MM, and realized that he knew who MM was, and how to say his name. He was filled with glee. So, I think that my love of WDW has rubbed off on my husband and sons. I believe that my children have taken some of their cues about WDW from me, but that they have grown to love WDW on their own.
So, to answer your question, no, I never grew tired of WDW, even going as much as I did as a kid, and now, 30 years later as a grown-up. Your kids might never grow tired of it either. I am enjoying WDW with a brand new zest, as are my parents, b/c of the new little ones we now share it with. I know it sounds corny, but I'm getting teary just thinking of how much I love being able to share it with them AND my parents. We're very lucky. I am so glad that we joined
DVC.
I agree with previous posters that it will keep it fresh to be able to take along a friend/family member for your children as they get older, just to keep it fresh. Think of all the memories they'll be able to create together. That's the stuff $ can't buy. I remember going there with my Girl Scout Troop and camping at Fort Wilderness, then going to the parks together, and going with my eighth grade class, all a bunch of great kids, and who can forget their Grad Night? I remember my cousin coming down for a visit from upstate NY, and going with my ENTIRE family (sister, brothers, BIL, SIL, nieces and nephews, parents) for New Years, and going again 10 years later for New Years Eve with our family after it had grown even more. For me, Disney has wonderful memories, and truly is one of my happiest places on earth.
I also believe that kids take some of their parents, do you expect them to be bored? Probably not, since you're such a die-hard, so they will pick up on this and probably never become bored. I just love being in the WDW atmosphere, anywhere at WDW is fine with me.
