This is such a silly question.... is it possible to get a window table at the CA Grill that does not have a view of the fireworks/Cinderella's Castle? I want to know exactly what I'm getting myself into. ;) Thanks!!!!

It is. From most of the CG, you could turn your head and see the castle. There is at least one room at the far end that you can't see the castle from. We actually liked it a lot because it was quieter, and it is where a lot of the wine is stored so it has a different atmosphere.

Yes, the seating areas along the windows either face the GF (and off to your right, MK) or the face towards EPCOT, AK and Studios in the distance. If sit against these windows or in the Wine Room you can see the fireworks from Illuminations, depending on your seating time.

Yes you can just tell the CM when you get there that you would like a window seat but not facing the castle. If they can help you they will . It should be easy cause everybody wants the castle view.
Good Luck!

We had a seat facing Epcot and we saw the Illuminations and EWP from our table. It was a great meal and the sunset was awesome to watch from up there - nature's own firework show. There are blinds if the sun gets a bit bright.

If your question is, "If I ask for a window seat, is it possible that they won't seat me facing the Magic Kingdom?"

Then the answer would be "Yes". As others have stated, the windows in the Wine Room don't face the castle.

Ask to be seated in the Wine Room, it's a smaller room with views of Bay Lake, Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. You also can see the Epcot's Illuminatons off in the distance.

It's a nice quiet room away from the hustle and bustle of it all. I request it every trip!
