My boyfriend and I are going through Thomsons and I just wondered, firstly when should we expect to recieve our tickets (we are going in September) and secondly, all our park passes are including in the price we have paid so will these be given to us from the thomsons or will we have to pick these up when we get there? :confused3

*Im very excited* :cool1:

If I remember rightly (haven't booked with an agent for a long time as always do DIY but used to be a TA) you should get your tickets around 10 days ish before you fly and the Disney park tickets are usually a voucher that you would change when you get there at Guest Services! :)

Thomson etickets are usually sent out between 3-4 weeks before you go. I don't know anyone these days that will send you actual park tickets in the post, you would collect them either from Disney depending on where you are staying , onsite or off site or at Guest Services windows in front of every Disney park.

I was surprised the other day when one of my clients got their Disney ticket package in and it actually had their $150 gift card inside , was fairly sure for security purposes they would have been given this upon checkin at their resort.

I am going with Thompson too (and in September!) :goodvibes

I have been told different things by different agents, as I had the same question as you. When I booked I was told that the holiday tickets would come in the post about 2 weeks before we travel but the park tickets were a voucher you exchange when you get there.

I've also asked when I've gone in to make payments and been told both the holiday and park tickets will be ones we have to print and on another occasion that they will all be posted to me.

Sorry this isn't very helpful, but their own reps don't seem to know!

Thanks everyone :)

We will be September Disney Buddies :lmao: I think I will ask them when I go to pay some of the holiday off! Im sure though, as you said, the probably wont have a clue, :rotfl2:

Are you guys staying on site at disney or off site as that will have a slight bearing on how you get your Disney tickets at least?

I've not been on a Thomson package for many years so not sure how they work in resort. Possible, maybe they could hand over a pack of tickets on arrival to guests but i would think this unlikely.

We went with Thomsons Xmas 2010 and had a barcode voucher for the park tickets. I exchanged it at Downtown Disney. We were staying in a villa though. Think we got our holiday tickets a couple of weeks before from the travel agent. :cheer2::cheer2:

On previous Thomson holidays (non Florida) we have always got out tickets in plenty of time, usually 6 weeks before. You get them all in a little book - always get me very excited! :rotfl:

We're staying at the Dolphin but for Disney purposes, I guess that counts as offsite?

Thanks everyone :)

We are! :D I'm going in to make another payment next week so I'll probably ask again too. (I know we don't have to but it will feel less painful than paying off the whole amount in June! plus I do get quite excited by going into the travel agent, sad isn't it?) Let me know what they tell you!

This matches what I was told when I initially booked, so I think it's the most likely scenario. Particularly as I've seen on other threads relating to park tickets that most places seem to give e-tickets.

I definitely want something on paper though! What am I going to stick in my keepsake book otherwise? :goodvibes
