Silly Question about "Dining Credits"

Hey all, we have been to Disney a few times but this will be the first time we are using the (regular) Dining Plan. We arrive on Friday afternoon and leave Monday morning....am I right in assuming that we would each have FOUR quick service credits & FOUR table service credits each? Or do we lose some credits because we aren't there for a FULL day on Friday or Monday?

The dining plan goes by number of NIGHTS not DAYS. You're there on Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night so that would be 3 QS credits and 3 TS credits per person.
