Silk flowers for UK

Found a great wholesaler for my silk flower needs.

We went last Thurs & it was great. I was quite surprised by how realistic the flowers looked & the variety of colours they held including a big range of coffee and champagne roses. Just had to share....

Oooh, can't wait to see your bouquet! Do you have any experience making arrangements? How did you manage to get in, as it's wholesale? How will you transport it on the plane?

My future MIL used to have her own bridal shop when Marc was little & did everything herself so has plenty of experience making bouquets.
It was also her who found the shop & registered. I'm not sure of what conditions (if any) you have to meet, other than an initial min spend of £50. Honestly, all I did was pick out what I wanted & FMIL took care of the rest( I am vvvvlucky). We will be making it together though.
I'm not sure whether to box it up and pack it with the rest of the wedding attire or take it in my hand luggage

Well if you get a sturdy enough box and pack a lot of tissue around the bouquet I would suggest packing it - I had to do this with my Tiara which was very fragile (had seashells in) and packed it.

Silk bouquets are a great idea - i just couldn't find anyone that did a really good job on them and I couldn't justify the cost of preserving my bouquet sooo sadly I gave my bouquet away to an American friend on the wedding day but she was very touched so it was all worth it.

sorry for delay. we decided to make the bouquet whilst we were in WDW and did it the night before the magic kingdom shoot.
i love it. especially the softness of the feathers.
