Silhouette Cameo Custom Image HELP!

Hello-

we just bought a Silhouette Cameo machine - love it

but trying to cut out our own images that we have created. And we can't seem to figure out how to do this. After watching countless hours of youtube videos---we still can't figure out what we are doing.

I don't know how to upload a photo here-

basic image is a heart shape with text inside this heart
when we cut out on the cameo- it cuts everything in separate pieces

once we peel off the paper everything is cut out- but due to the design
(I guess) nothing is attached.

we want the whole image with the text cut out- but still in correct place. If that makes sense.


ideally this is going to be cut our of vinyl and then applied to a number of different elements.

can anyone out there give us some help?

Select the entire image a click weld. Then it should all cut together.
