I do hope that they keep the kiosks. I'm still balking at carrying a phone since I like to travel light.

I like that you no longer have to book three. I will be eager to see how people book other FP+ after they use just one or two pre-booked passes.

I can't imagine the kiosks going anywhere anytime soon.

Yes. HS. But it is our arrival day and my 3 FP are for the last 3 timeslots and RNR is my last FP. I do have a separate MDE account with unused tickets on it that I have FP booked on so we will know if it is tied to park entry. I will be back to HS on Tuesday so I can get better info then.

Could someone let me know if the kiosks stay? I might be the last of the flip phone holdouts. It is 10 years old and still going strong. I washed it in the washer, dropped in puddles. It is unbreakable. Therefore, I need the kiosks or I am out of luck.

The kiosks will definitely stay.

Not all guests own smartphones so they need the kiosks.

Many guests buy tickets at the park and they don't have MDE. These guests will also use the kiosks.

Don't worry. The kiosks will be there for you!

Not to mention international guests who have phones that won't work here. Sure they can use WiFi but unless they really increase the wifi capability that won't work. It's bad now and will only be worse with more using it for their FP

I think something is wrong with my desk top computer.
I can access my Disney experience and I can see my passes but when I try to make a new fast pass it just goes to a mostly white screen that has nothing on it (normally the screen that asks you who you want passes for.)
Personally I like using my desk top to make and change passes if possible ... Using my iPhone is harder for me (darn screen is too small)

What browser? I get a white screen using Chrome quite often. Disney claims MDE works on it but in reality there are issues with Chrome and MDE. So maybe try a different browser? If that doesn't work try clearing all your MDE cookies

Interesting info for @mesaboy2. So your 3rd FP hadn't fully expired and you were able to book the 4th during your last window. Thanks for reporting!

This will be so interesting to watch, but i really dont understand it from Disney's perspective. Guests enhancement = good business, sure, but if MM+ is all about smoothing crowd distribution, i don't understand how basically returning to legacy FP rules but with a pre-book and digital component accomplishes that. An improvement for guests for sure, though!

One thing that is retained is that with prebooking of FP+, Disney has an idea of how many guests will be in certain places on a given day. That's pretty valuable information for them.

Nope, I'm there as well!

$10 phone works great! It's a pain to text, and I certainly can't book FPs with it, but for now, it's fine

Before I bought a used iPhone and do $25 every 3 months, I used a iPod in the parks for FP+. Worked great.
