Signed Up For Connections, Still Waiting For Email From Them

How long does it usually take them to email you your registration number after you sign up? I signed up yesterday afternoon and have yet to hear anything. I want to sign in and order meal vouchers, but I can't until they email me.

I never received an email from them. My membership number was right on the screen after I signed up.

I came over here to ask the same exact question! LOL I signed up this morning at 7am, and still no word. I even sent them an email asking when I could expect confirmation; I was surprised it wasn't immediate, as it usually confirmation emails are sent immediately (at least, that is my experience). There is no membership number on the confirmation page; this is all it says:

That's the same message I got. I had my husband call them (the number is on the connections123.com page under contact us), and they told him that it takes a couple days to load in the system. Very weird though, because I signed up before under my name (and cancelled), but it had the membership # come up immediately after I signed up. Maybe they have changed things.

i signed up on July 19, placed my order for tickets and vouchers the very same day all online and I had my tickets and vouchers in hand as of 3 pm this afternoon (7/23). Excellent service, I just checked my credit card and I was charged, only once for the amount of order.

Well..I went ahead and signed up for Simple Escapes (same company as connections I think), and ordered my meal vouchers. Plus I earned some credits at 27points.com, so I'm happy. I'll be even happier if they get here quick and i'm only charged once! LOL

I did a search on the parent company of connections (Memberworks), they are a pretty big company, and simple escapes is one of their programs, as is essentials and home store and a few others

I signed up for my points last night, then signed up for Connections, got an immediate account number and ordered my meal vouchers. I use a bank (debit) card, and I checked today and the $1 plus the total of what I ordered was charged. Hopefully I'll get the vouchers just as quick, so I can cancel my membership no problem.

I believe it took at least 2-3 days for me to receive the e-mail with my account number. I was never able to order online, I always had to call to order. It also took at least 3 weeks to get the packet of info in the mail. I think it's really risky using a debit card for Connections if you've read about the problems people have had. Personally I don't think they intentionally are out to cheat anyone, it's just that they can be extremely inefficient (you'll see what I mean if you call on the phone). Funny how things go so smoothly for some people and so much hassle for others.

i think you are right, they just screw things up, i doubt they try to intentionally rip people off....luckily for me i have used them 2 yrs in a row with nothing but great service

Ok, here's the history so far:
Signed up for connections 7am July 23. Was told an email would be sent shortly.

Sent email enquiring about membership ID # Noon July 23.

afternoon of July 24, receive email from connections, they have no record of my membership based on my name and email address, they ask for additional information.

Morning of July 25, I am checking my credit card statement online, and see that I have a $1 charge from connections.

Afternoon of July 25, I call connections and finally get my membership number.

Just now, tried to sign on to connections page. I make it to the welcome sign-in page, but when I try to click the links for merchandise/movie tickets/attractions/etc I get an 'error on page' message, and it won't load. So I sign on to AOL and attempt it that way, and same thing.

<sigh>



I would really like to check out all the deals connections has to offer, not just the Q&C vouchers, but the site seems to be conspiring against me!

the day I was buying my tickets I had some trouble with the site, so I restarted my computer and resigned on and then everything was fine, give it a try, I used it today and everything was cool

I should've mentioned--I did try that earlier, hula...and no luck. then I did a search to see if I still had netscape on my computer--I don't--but when I went back on IE, it all worked EXCEPT for the attraction options--I could get to the attraction pages, and the sales spiel shows up, but not the ordering options--it just shows some javascript gooblydegook. so I'm hoping its just a site glitch and those will kick in at some point....but now I've at least seen the other options available! whew!

I had the java script stuff too, it was on the links to the purchases and so I couldn't add for example, tickets to my cart...it took quite a few refreshing the screen to get it back to normal, so maybe its on their end.

Yay!! Order completeed! When I got up this morning, I checked Connections again--still no luck on IE. So, I downloaded Netscape, went to the site, and presto!! All the options were available. Woo-hoo!! I ordered 10 Q&C vouchers, and plan to order a few more as well as some movie tickets.

So, my advice to anyone experiencing the same problems: Call for your number 24 hours after you've submitted your info, and try Netscape to access the site instead of IE.
