Has anyone stayed at the signature suites at any of the Disneyland hotels? I have looked at the pics online and it looks like while they are all nice only "The Disneyland Hotel" have truly themed suites. Are they super pricey? worth a one time splurge or better to spend the money on in park activity?

They are VERY pricey. The one exception is the Fairy Tale Suite, which is pricey but not totally out of reach. It runs ~$800/night, but it does include concierge so it's not much more than a regular suite when you figure in the concierge privilege. It also used to include VIP seating (which we used for Fantasmic), but I'm not sure if it still does now that they have the new F! FP system. When I stayed in the FTS we could choose between F! and the parade.

The suite is large, with a huge super cool bathroom that has a giant jacuzzi tub with castle mosaic and a huge steam shower. The vanity stone lights up from inside (or underneath?) and there's a hidden tv in the mirror. The carpet in the room is silk and there are huge windows (it's a corner room) with a great view of the fireworks. The lounge is directly next door! Downside: you can only have 2 people in the FTS.

We got to peek in a couple of the other signature suites. I'd love to stay in one, but they are waaaaaaay out of my price range.

We stayed in the Adventureland suite once and it was about $2200 a night. It's a great splurge and we loved it. We'll probably try the Big Thunder suite next year, but my DH wants to do the Mickey Mouse Penthouse - I checked the price last year and it was about $4,500/night

$2200? That's less than I thought. That would be pretty darned cool for a splurge, but I'd have to get a few other people to think so and split with me :goodvibes

They would be amazing and if you've got it go for it! I think I might want to do a regular suite with a premium view and splurge on the VIP tour for a day though. :)

When I priced it in May, it was $4800 a night.... All 4 (Penthouse, Pirates, Big Thunder, and Adventureland) were $4800.

That's more like what I was thinking. I believe you posted about it not long ago because I remember you'd commented on the cost. When I asked about a year and a half ago, they told us around $4500, I think. That was just a regular CM though. He told us they're often used by big guys as conference rooms and often they're comped. We were going down the hall looking at all the suite doors, which are pretty neat. We were also hoping something would be open so we could see in :) A maid let us peek inside the suite across from the Fairy Tale Suite...can't remember what it was now. Adventure or Big Thunder, I think. We only got to look from the doorway, and there was a very large table with lots of chairs...that's about all we could see.

I have been fortunate enough to tour Pirates and th eMM Penthouse. My granddaughter wants to stay in it. My favorite without viewing is the Adventureland suite. We eventually will stay in the Fairytale suite. We were going to last time, but my younger daughter deicded she wanted to come too, so we got a regular room...
