If you're using two TS credits on a regular DDP for a signature restaurant do you get appetizers? Thanks! :goodvibes

No. You get the same entitlements regardless of how many credits the restaurant takes.

The one exception to that is if you do the FAntasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood Brown Derby...it takes two credits, but you do get an appetizer on the dinner package even on the regular dining plan.

Editted to add: also, if you use two credit to do lunch or dinner in Cinderella's Castle you get an appetizer with those meals also.

does that mean if you are on the Deluxe Dining plan you get an appetizer with your meal at a 1 TS restaurant?

wow...if that is the case....that explains why people say it's so much food!!!

Yes, on the DxDP, you get an appetizer with all 1 credit and 2 credit TS lunches and dinners.

Correct, you get an app at 1-credit restaurants for lunch and dinner.
That's really where it's "more food" than the regular DDP, is in the apps.

Of course, besides simply skipping the apps, you can also usually get something very low in calories, such as a salad as your app.

And also note that the DxDP appetizer only matters if you're doing "menu service" -- it has no effect at any breakfast, buffet, family style meal, dinner show, or other fixed priced location.

Personally, I'd rather skip dessert than the appetizer, if I were choosing one or the other, most of the time (that is, unless there's a specific dessert I want to have), because while they're both "extra calories", at least the appetizer will be more likely to have reasonable nutritional value.

Depends on the app! lol. But yes, overall, absolutely correct. And for those reasons, I really wish the regular DDP let you choose a dessert or an appetizer. Even if they didn't give the full range of apps, at the very least...... it would be ethically responsible to allow the substitution of a salad for the dessert under the regular DDP.

If you do the Candlelight Processional package (holiday season) with your regular DP which is 2 credits you get an appetizer; it's a package; so, it's included.

Adding to the Fantasmic package which is the best deal out there on the regular DP you can use 1 credit at Ma Ma Melrose and you get an appetizer included; because, it's a package. This reservation can be hard to get; so, do this one as early as you can.

Chef de France has a price fix menu selection as 1 credit which includes some appetizers as part of that deal. If you time your meal right there you get to see Remy, too.

We go during Xmas season and we always do the above; so, we have three meals with appetizers.

You can always pay out of pocket for a few appetizers; it won't break the bank.

If you have Disney Rewards there are some food places that will accept this as money. I plan do this in some instances.
