last i heard...she said she would swap out the stuff over the weekend & mail them out on monday. but of course, that was this monday past...(10/30) i offered to help...but she said she'll slowly work thru it. and i haven't heard from her...

so like all of you, i'm waiting. i guess we're all waiting. hopefully, she'll get thru whatever life has in store for her...

It would have been nice for the host to drop a note and let us know what was going on - in her own words.
At this point I need my stuff to work on my layouts - would be nice just to get my original stuff back.

I'm not in this swap..but no this usually does not happen.. I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation but I dont' have any answers..

Ok, Maybe im just being a lil snippy here, and I know things happen in life that get in the way. Sometimes it gets out of hand. I understand that. I've had swaps where I have been late. But I've always at least tried to keep an open communication line going. But this swap was due 2 months ago. And the hostess is still MIA

BUT, there comes a time when you have to step up to the plate. I have sent I don't know how many PM's reguarding this swap. I have offered to help in any way that I could. I don't mean to sound rude or drop a drama bomb but I'm a little annoyed. Not so much that I haven't recieved my things back but because we have not heard from our hostess. At least give us that much respect to update us on our items.

ok i would also like to know what's what. i pmed her this week, but no reply. i told her just send me all the stuff, no postage, no names, i will go back and read the thread and figure it all out myself. just so everyone gets the stuff back. i feel bad, because everyone put so much work into it, it would be nice to get it back. this was my 1st swap and i think other peoples 1st as well. kind of leaves a bad taste in your mouth for swaps. sad. very sad.

any suggestions anyone?????

i have pm-ed her before, and asked if i could help, but she told me that she'll send it out herself. let me pm her again, and see what she says. should i have her send all the stuff to me, and i could sort thru them? i don't even know how that would work? i offered that, but like i said, she said she'll mail it out soon. hopefully, she'll reply. i'll get back to you all...

if you talk to her, please ask her if we send her a self-addressed envelope, could she at least please put our own stuff in the envelope and stick the postage that we already sent on the envelope? That would take less than one minute per person, I would think.

i don't talk to her, i don't really know her, just like i don't know you or anyone else here on the dis...except thru cyberspace, and thru swapping, i guess. but i did pm her, and hopefully she'd respond. will let you know!

The last PM I recieved from her was on 10-25 she stated that she had not forgotten and had most of the stuff sorted but that was it. Her last activity on the boards was 11-2

I like many others offered any help in getting the packages back out to everyone but have not heard from her reguarding that. I really don't want to "forget" about this because I would really like my items back or the items to be swapped out.

ok i really don't want to forget about it either. i worked hard on all my punches and at best i'd like them back.
i pmed her, but nothing.
i emailed her tonight, so hopefully i'll get a response. i do feel bad if she has had a life issue, that is preventing her from finishing the swap. we have all had life issues. i almost lost my mother this past spring and you know what, if i was in the middle of this kind of thing, it would definately would have to wait. my family 1st and everything next. no ? about it. thats the way it is for me. and i told her that in the pm andthe email. just mail it all to me and i'll swap it out. lets just try to work together.
so lets no give up yet! ok?
if i hear anything, i promise i'll let everyone know.

ps i also don't know her, just from this swap! i am also up to any suggestions anyone can add.

I have had enough!!! I would be much more understanding if she would just drop a PM to each of us - or post a note so everyone can see whats going on. Just send me my stuff back! I am tired of this!!!
Plus she is also in another swap I am doing - Not sure if i want to continue with SWAPS if this is how it works.
