My first post was deleted and several others that I read are now gone. Mine seemed very innocent, as did most of the others that are now gone.

No. It seems to me that everyone has been relatively decent in this thread. Aside from talking about that one poster, anyway. I don't know what other posts were removed, since I buzzed upstairs to make cookies.

There are 50 threads on page one of the CB right now. 17 of them are clique threads. Maybe this is the clique board and we just don't realize it!

I honestly have no idea how welcoming they might be to newcomers as I've never had a desire to participate in one of them. I do have a feeling that I would be less than welcome in one of them. For all I know, the rest of them may be nice folks. I just wish they didn't take up quite so much space.

I realized when I started this thread it might bring out some of the tension that has been here for a while, but I have been on these boards for a long time and needed to say how I felt.

You can mix and match mixes, nuts, chocolate chips, you name it. These were just plain Devil's food, and taste like brownies.

I have a thread I started about Cake Mix Cookies that now has been given a permanent sticky over on the cooking board! It has many cool variations of cake mixes & add-ins.

I sometimes wonder if I get banned for posting to a thread like this, whether my cookie thread will out-live me here, & how weird that would be.

Yes, I sometimes delete things I was going to post, because in today's climate here, I am afraid it would be taken the wrong way & I'd get points or banned. I found some funny Blonde jokes, but I thought some blonde might report me as being offensive and I'd get points.


Darlak, if your posts are only getting deleted, consider that lucky. You don't get warnings before you are given points. Well, I guess deleting posts could be a warning.
