**Sigh**School start tomorrow for the kids and me!

I'm just sitting here feeling sorry for myself. Maybe someone else out there can commiserate! My 2 boys go back to school tomorrow and since I work as a teaching assistant in their district, I have to go back to work! We've been off since June 15 and so much has happened this summer. I'm mourning the fact that it's over. Just 2 weeks ago, we spent 3 days playing at Disneyland and now it's all over! After the trip, we jumped right into putting new carpeting in our entire house. Geez! We did so much packing and shifting furniture that we might as well have moved to a new house! Everything still isn't back in it's place and now I have to start working so the final organizing will have to wait!

Anyway, thanks for reading my lament! Here's hoping school (and work) go well for all of us!!

Not to be mean, but its hard to feel sorry for you going back to work after being off all summer , when I've been working all summer.

And after school is in session for about 1 week, we are actually moving to a new house, new school district, all new friends, for DH, the kids and myself.

Guess your post caught me at a bad time.

I understand how you are feeling! I teach 6th grade and go back next week. I always feel bad "complaining" about going back to work, but it is difficult to get back into the swing of things! Especially since the beginning of the school year is always so busy with open house, meetings, etc. Although I guess the challenge is worth it since it means having the summer off! But the summers always do seem to fly by too fast, don't they?!?!

Oh...I agree...it all begins tommorrow!! The students are coming......the students are coming!!! Seems like summer just started!! I think I would feel more ready if it felt more like Fall.
