Shuttles to WDW from Vistana Resort

I usually stay on site at WDW but I am considering trying for one of the Vistana Resort auctions on skyauction.com. We usually do not rent a car when we go to WDW. We like to take advantage of the Disney Transportation. I saw on the Sheraton site that Vistana has complimentary shuttle service to WDW. Is this true even if you are staying there from a skyauction booking? Does anyone have any comments about the shuttle service (i.e. frequency, size of bus, hours).

Things like this change every so often so it's best if you call the resort directly with your inquiries. We always contact the resorts directly before we book with them if we have questions.

Last time we checked the shuttle service wasn't really complimentary. There was a more than nominal fee to use it, and if you go to the parks enough and have enough people in your group a rental car will quickly become a cheaper option. Also, the shuttle doesn't run very often from what I remember, so it might be easier to rent a car, for convinience.
