Shuttle to Newark Airport

I am looking for a van/limo to take my family of eight, six adults and two children who will require car seats,from Bergen County to Newark Airport. We need a very early pick up to Newark on 10/13/02 @ 6:30a.m and a return home @ 1:00 p.m. on 10/21/02. I was able to arrange to use "Yourride" when I get to Orlando thanks to this board. (Great Rate $80 round trip vs. almost $200 for the hotel bus transfers.) I know I can just open the Yellow pages and start calling, but I was hoping that someone has gone through this situation before. Thanks for your help. And P.S. Someone responded to a previous question on this board with the reply "bump" what does that mean?

I was just checking services from my home to Philly airport...the cheapest was $99 roundtrip, but there's only two of us going, that was for a town car. I would assume a lime or mini van would cost more. We decided to drive our car to a parking lot near the airport and leave it there, which we usually do anyway. With a coupon I printed from their site www.avistarparking.com...I'm paying $44.50 for a week. Don't know if there's one in Newark, though. As far as the "bump" question...it makes that thread go back to the top, for more to people to see.

We fly out of Newark (EWR) this Sunday. Our flight time is 6:50 a.m. We normally have other family members drive us to the airport, but at that hour on a Sunday morning, we decided to get a cab instead. There are LOTS of transport/cabs/limo services in all of north Jersey. Everyone I asked said they never had a problem and they just called a local cab company. We called around last week using the yellow pages (looking for "airport" in the add) and they all had around the same prices. The company we went with asked us what time our flight was leaving and THEY told us what time. For a 6:50 a.m. flight, they are picking us up at 5:00 a.m. For the return flight, they said to call them when we land and they will meet us out front in about 15 min.
