Shuttle to Boat?

How much is the shuttle to the criuse boats from WDW Hotels? There is 2 adults and 3 kids, 13, 8 & 6.

We paid (I think) about $46 ROUND TRIP, PER PERSON, to go from the hotel to the ship and from the ship to the airport. If you only want one way, it's about half that.

For 5 people you might find other ways to be cost effective and more flexible (e.g., hiring a limo or private car).

We chose to pay the price and let Disney do all the organizing and handle all the details--especially since we had the extra complication of needing to transfer an electric scooter with us both ways. Besides, the trip to the ship included a video introduction, which was a good distraction.

Hopefully, someone else with more experience will volunteer info for the alternative transportation....

With 5 people, it'll definitely be much cheaper to rent a car to drive yourself. It cost about $50 to pick up a full size car from Avis at the Airport and drop it off at Radisson at Cape Canaveral. The return will cost about the same. Avis provides a shuttle bus between their Radisson office and the port. If you do decide on this route, I would suggest that you drop off your family and luggages at the port before returning the car to Avis at Radisson. If the shuttle bus is crowded (on occasions), it'll be much easier to find space for 1 than for 5.

We have never done it any other way. We always had the need to make grocery stops before getting on the ship. Having our own car just made that simpler.
