I have tried to search for information on the boards about shuttle service from Bonnet Creek to the parks - no luck yet. We won't have a car, so we will need shuttles. Any tips or advice?

Any restaurants at Bonnet Creek?

Thanks :upsidedow

Call the resort, because the schedule varies. Not much in the way of food onsite. When it is completely built out there will be restaurants onsite, but as for now I think there is just one counter service type of place. You could get a grocery store delivery or take a cab to Publix, which isn't far.

To be honest I wouldn't stay at BC without a car. It's just too much of a hassle. Heck I won't even take the busses when staying onsite at Disney.

I might have to rent a car then. Thanks for the information.

will have a car - but might just take the shuttle to the MK.

surposely the buses come every 30 minutes. (some others have say every hour)

so guess we will need to check when we arrive at the resort.

I have a scanned copy from a previous post, but I don't know how to add in message. I can email to you if you want to pm me. The scanned copy was in Aug 08, and it was the same when we were there Feb 09 (except for extra pickup later hours in Aug). We had a rental car, but we took the shuttle because I did not want to pay the $12 for disney parking. We did drive to grocery store, Downtown Disney, and outlets.

I don't want to pay parking for sure. I am starting to get nervous about staying "off-site" even though it is closer than some. I have toured Bonnet Creek before, walked around the pool area (gorgeous), and looked at the rooms. We are staying in the presidential suite (little family reunion).

In your opinion - were the pick up sites in reasonable locations? I am not really concerned about the times.

I am officially flustered by this upcoming experience. I would be happier if BC had restaurants on site. I am just rambling now.:scared:

See some of the other threads re: this. All I can say is take the shuttle when able. It drops you off right at the front door of the parks. It's fast and free, except for the tip. Just be careful coming back at night - too many people trying to cram on the bus. It can get ugly. We took a cab and then didn't have to wait for the bus. You'll love the presidential suite - they are awesome!

There are lots of restaurants in the nearby area. Just take SR 536 to 535, and you'll have lots of options in the area.

While the kitchens were well equipped, we ate out pretty much all of our meals. We made breakfast reservations at a couple of the resorts (Boma breakfast buffet at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Kona's Tonga Toast at the Poly - both breakfasts were wonderful!). Both resorts were close, and there wasn't a charge for parking (just take your reservation information with you). There are also lots of character meals you could book if you were interested.

About a month before my trip in Aug 08, I called BC and they sent me the shuttle schedule and also the activities schedule. I received it in less than a week.
