Yes...more than one. I think Super Shuttle, and I forget the other one. I have stayed near the airport, and taken a shuttle from there to the park. It's not expensive either~
We did a shuttle to/from our hotel on our trip in october. I think it took about 30 minutes and we were the last to be dropped off. We used the Disney shuttle, was about 80 round trip if memory serves me right. One thing I will recommend is bring cash. They can do cc, but they don't like to since it's through carbon, no card readers.
LAX to any hotel on Harbor should be about 40 minutes in near perfect traffic conditions. There is no way to legally (or safely) do it in 30 minutes. Add some time for pick-ups and multiple terminals and drop-offs at multiple hotels, if you're on a shared shuttle.
I am using Disneyland Express for our trip this April and for round-trip its only $32.00 per person but its better to book in advanced....(at least that what the lady on the phone told me at the express way)
I remember there being gentlemen in shuttle type vans that went to the hotels for about $10 (this was back in 2008). I was planning to use them again when I come the end of April, are they still around?

It might have been 40, didn't really seem that long, but then again I was listening to music the entire time. Was one of those rare times in LA where traffic was perfect and didn't get stuck anywhere.
We have used the Disneyland Express Bus our last two trips, and with the coupon you can get at anaheimoc.org for $5 off per person, it is $27 roundtrip per person. We have not reserved in advance - just look for the bus when it stops at your terminal. We pay with a credit card to a guy who gets on at the Disneyland Hotel (first stop).
Is there a rec car service to use? I am thinking that it would be fun to have a limo pick us up - we are a family of five. We are flying into LAX and going to DLH for the first part of our trip before we move on to LA and San Diego.
Would anyone recommend the Disneyland Express from LAX to Harbor Blvd? The idea of changing vehicles was a little blegh to me but I still can't decide who to book our airport transit with.

I would! I've used them for all of my trips, they have great service, and it's really very easy. I can't stand the sketchy, trolling vans at airports, so it is nice to get on a big, Disney approved bus! If you book online, it's no hassle just hand them the voucher when the bus stops at DLH then the same bus will drop you right at your hotel. (Just a note, the LAX busses no longer have huge printed characters on the outside wrap, but are plain white now)

I just wanted to point out that Disneyland Express is NOT run by Disney, in case people are under the impression that they are.
As for the airport vans, living in the area, we almost always use Super Shuttle when we travel. They are very reputable and in 20 years of using them, I can honestly say I have had only one negative experience and it was a fluke thing.
Sorry if I didn't make that clear, I just meant they were the company picked by Disney as the "Disneyland Express", so the buses used to be covered in official characters, etc. Thanks for clarifying
