Hi Everyone!

We are down to the last few details of our planning, well I am, my family just shows up!

Need some advice....Easter Sunday we are going to Aquatica. But then we are heading over to SW for Dine with Shamu for dinner

It says we need to check in by 3 p to get our assigned dining time.

I don't not think it is wise to hop in the car and drive the short bit because of crowds , traffic and a packed parking lot from the easter service crowds.

does Aquatica have a shuttle that goes to and from sea world?

Would it be better for us to take that?

I plan to bring our nice clothes and change and head out from aquatic around 2p to get over to SW for our dinner, then spend the rest of the time at SW in the evening.

Any advice??

TIA!!! annabug

TY!! i am assuming it will only be less than a 15 minute trip door to door?

I think you'd be better off driving. Or at least parking in the SeaWorld lot in the morning and taking the shuttle to Aquatica to start the day. Aquatica probably closes at 6pm so if you stay late at SeaWorld after your dinner then they might not have a shuttle going back to Aquatica.

I was originally thinking the same thing, but SW has there Sunrise Easter Service that morning which is a free religious celebration which is known to draw close to 6000 people!!!! That parking lot is probably gonna be a hot mess !!!

which is why i was thinking to just head straight to Aquatica.

thoughts?

Oh..I'm not sure then. I'd never heard of that. I just googled it and see what you mean now. It's super early though and I doubt it would have any affect on the park situation. Will you get a super close spot up front- probably not- but I doubt it will have too much of an effect on traffic. Most of those people will be gone by the time you arrive. But like I said, it's my best guess, I wouldn't know for sure. Maybe try calling SeaWorld directly and ask their advice. They would know best.

Do whatever you think is best then but just make sure to double check to see if they stop the shuttle service to Aquatica at a certain time. :)

I've been to SeaWorld twice on Easter but both times in San Diego (2011, 2013). As far as I know, they never had anything like that.

You could always walk. Aquatica is literally across the street from SeaWorld. So if you are worried about shuttles not running late, it won't be that far of a walk back to Aquatica.

good to know. thanks!

Yea, Im not sure how much of that crowd will actually remain in the park. They offer a big breakfast after the Sunrise Service, and many people stay for that.

But now Im afraid that the SW shuttle will not be able to take us back to Aquatica because they close much earlier at 6 p

I think I will just inquire when we arrive at Aquatica in the AM what the best approach will be. Thanks again for your input!! much appreciated!
