Has anyone eaten at Shulas in the Dolphin Hotel? Would you recommend it?

We ate there. It was good. The service was excellent. The souffle was to die for.

DH doesn't want to go back though. It was dark. And he was really put off by "Sebastian" on the cart with the beef that they roll up to your table in lieu of a menu.

He also thought it was very expensive. On that mark he's right, we've had many meals that were just as good for 25% less.

So will we go bacK? I'm sure someday there will be a reason to. But until then we'll be headed to Jiko when we want a filet.

We ate at Shula's last March. It was delicious. I was just telling DH last night that I wish I had a potato skin from Shula's right then. The steaks were great too. Our service was spotty at first, but then vastly inproved. I had a filet, DH had the Kansas City Strip, we split a salad, each had one side, had shrimp as an appetizer and each had 1 drink---it was about $135-140 with tip. It is a loud and dark atmosphere ....final summary- Food- A+, Service- B, Value- C.

Thanks for your help! This is my and my fiancé’s first trip and we were looking for someplace to go and he is a sports nut so I though that this would be perfect. Where else would you recommend a nice dinner (without kids if at all possible ).

Citrico's might be a good place to eat. Not many kids there under normal circumstances. Bistro de Paris would be another good choice for low kid count. Or of course Victoria and Alberts.

Can you use wishes to eat at restaurants like Shula's that are in the Dolphin hotel? That is part of disney right?
