I love Shula's and eat there often. I wanted to try one of the other steakhouses at Disney (since I can eat at Shula's elsewhere). How do the others compare? Shall I try a new one, or will it be disappointing in comparison?

Since I have PS at Shula's and Yachtman's, I am very curious to hear the answer on this.

I've had very good meals at the Yachtsman and Le Cellier. I haven't dined at Shula's but from what I read it is the cream of the crop. BUT if you eat there a lot and want to try something new I don't think you can go wrong with the other two.

I used to love the Yachtsman, until maybe four years ago. They had a change in management, and it went WAY downhill. They've come back a notch since then, but are still not "Cream of the Crop" like they once were.

I have eaten at Le Cellier many times as well. Always had a great meal with excellent service until the last time I was there about six weeks ago. I must have had the worst server ever to work there. He just couldn't get it together. The food was also not as good as it has been in the apst. Very, very disappointing experience. Will I go back? I'm sure. But it's not on the PS list for the next two trips.

We've eaten at Shula's once, last spring, it was a very good meal. I didn't love the decor, just a little too full of testosterone for my taste. Service was very good, and the steak was excellent, although expensive. The dessert, a souffle, was to die for!

We really enjoyed Shula's, and I'm sure will eat there again.

So in answer to your question, Shula's was the best of the three.

I like them all but my least favorite for a steak out of the 3 would be Le Cellier, only because they use a lower grade of beef, or that has been our experience while dining there. We like Le Cellier very much but it is definitely not our favorite place for a steak. Cheddar cheese soup, salads, burgers and their reuben sandwich, yes but steak no.
We have been eating at Yachtsman for years and have never noticed any decline in service or food. I know some post this repeatedly about Yachtsman but I can honestly say this has never been our experience in many meals eaten at this restaurant. We just ate there a week ago and everything was excellent as usual.
Shulas also has excellent steak, without a doubt. What bugs me about Shulas is I do not care for the atmosphere at all and the totally a la carte menu annoys me for some reason. Even though dining at Shulas is not much more than Yachtsmans it just feels as though you are being nickeled and dimed to death since everything is an additional cost.
I can honestly say I have had equally good steaks on a consistent basis at both Yachtsman and Shulas.
My absolute favorite steak at WDW though is the seared NY Strip Steak at Flying Fish. This steak is without a doubt the best steak I have ever eaten and remains to be so after many, many times of ordering this steak. I love this steak!!
Good luck with your choices, and enjoy!!

We would rank them in this order

we keep gong back to Le Cellier and Yachtsmans

Have not tried Shula's but DW (a dedicated carnivore) LOVED Yachtsman last spring. She said it was among the best steaks she has ever had. LeCellier was fun and had some good dishes, but I don't think the overall quality was quite up to Yachtsman.

Tixx speaks the truth about Bern's. :faint: The best steak anywhere, ever.
