I've heard that while on the DDP, you can add on a lobster tail to, say, a steak at Cap'n Jacks. Can you add the shrimp skewer at the Concourse Steakhouse? Come on, give me the final reason to book that ADR! :thumbsup2

Probably not. I mean, you can get it but it's not included - you can pay for extras out of pocket.

We ate at Spoodles on the boardwalk last year and it was wonderful. I had the NY Strip and our waitperson asked if I wanted to top it w/shrimp. I had actually said no but she had it added on anyway and there was no extra charge. Maybe this has changed but I would think that you would normaly have to pay. Although they may view it as just one plate and not charge. Anyway I would recommend Spoodles to you plus you can have fun on the boardwalk afterwards.

Taken from the DDP FAQ page:

Are add-ons such as shrimp or sides included in the plan?

No they are not.

Okay what about glow cubes, room service, pizza delivery, mini-bars,souvenir or refillable mugs

These are also not included in the plan & would have to be paid for seperately.

Last year we were allowed to add Shrimp to some dishes at Concourse, this year it was not.

Last year at Spoodles they encouraged us to add shrimp and scallop skewers, this year I asked and was not allowed.

Last year at Kona our server eagerly added shrimp and scallops as add-ons to our meals (I'm guessing he was bending the rules).

Concourse did not allow any add-ons.

Thanks very much for your answers and suggestions!

Just to shed a little light the severs are eager to add on anything because it increases their tip. Even the guy that said no got it added anyway. Not that this is bad because usually the server will let you know everything to make more $$$. Like at some places getting the more expensive drinks (smoothies, milkshakes, etc) in place of pop or any other additions.

Last year at Spoodles we were allowed.

This year we asked and was told that the add on was stopped as of Aug 13.
My thinking ...it was stopped due to free dining. I bet once the free dining is over they will allow it again.

BTW we were told no at Concourse also.
