Shrek Help

Could someone who is familar with the parks answer for me a few questions.First of all,how easy is it to meet Shrek and Fiona, we are planning our trip for next year,do you think they will still have the Shrek characters for awhile,if so how long??Or do you think they will keep them for quite awhile.

Also anyone who has visited the parks recently,and has visited the Shrek Ye Ole Shop,what unique Shrek gifts do they have in your opnion,like things you wouldn't find in your local stores.

Can't help you with the gift shop, but Shrek and Fiona came out every day and signed autographs right by the plaza outside I Love Lucy. But get there early, because they chalked marked boxes on the sidewalk and only kids who were standing in boxes could do the meet and greet. Actually thought it was a great crowd control thing because the employees were really policing those parents who would run up to the front of the line and cut in. The line was clearly marked and you better be standing on a numbered box. Some of the other character meet and greets did not have this, which was a shame.

The Shrek stuff will be there as long as the ride is there...a long time. There is a lot of neat Shrek stuff in the shop. I couldn't list them but they are different. The only think I couldn't find was a Fiona Doll that is the Ogre Fiona instead of the Human Fiona.

Try to be the first of the day to meet with Shrek and Fiona. My niece was given a necklace by Princess Fiona and proclaimed Princess of the Day!

Not sure if Shrek does something similar for a boy. Ogre of the day?! lol

I have seen Shrek and Fiona right outside the Shrek Shop also. I have not looked at the Merchandise in the Store, but it is quite large and I am sure they have some unique things in there.
