Well I wanted to give my opinon on what I think of Shrek 4D. I have gone on it twice (3 days ago and today). I feel that Univerasal Creative has created an attraction that everyone will enjoy. I won't give too many details as I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I will say that the Pre-show and show are very good. The seats are very confortable and are a big part of the show. People might want to visit Univesal this weekend as they will start having technical rehersals so you might be lucky to experience before it officially opens.

Thanks for the review, wanna.

One question, there was talk about some of the Hitchcock stuff was to be left there. Did you see any of it?

Thanks!

Well I couldn't tell you Robin, as I only experience the one in Hollywood. I think the technical rehersal for the one at Florida are next weekend, because they've run into some delays and are still trying to see if they can officailly open it on memorial weekend. The only thing that I feel might be a problem with the Shrek in USH is that it only has capacity of 496 guest and the show is about 17 minutes long that includes the pre-show so they can only do 3 shows an hour.

Wanna, shouldn't the capacity be twice that much? Every Orlando park that has a "pre-show" element (from It's Tough to be a Bug to Muppets 4-D to Honey I Shrunk the Audience) uses that as just another holding area. So if the pre-show and show runs about 17 minutes in total they could have 496 guests go in every ten minutes.

Maybe it's not obvious during the staggered technical rehearsals but I would be shocked if USF doesn't run it that way when it opens officially.

Makes sense to me. So the show itself is about 10 -12 minutes long? That would make 5 - 6 shows per hour, so about 2500 - 3000 people per hour.

Which is a very high capacity. Most attractions have a 2500 or fewer hourly capacity.
