Shrek 2 Playstation 2 help needed!

Hello! Anyone out there play Shrek2 on PS2? We're stuck trying to jump Puss across a tightrope w/thorns on it, he keeps falling off and can't jump over the thorns and land on the rope. Any suggestions?

I got two.

1. Go to Best Buy and buy/look at Shrek 2 guide.
2. Go on a website like cheatplanet.com.
