Planning a summer trip with family.

We all have no problem with any rides however I was wondering if we wanted to make shows a priority over the rides what are the must see shows at each park.

We are 3 adults and a 4-year-old

If you're asking about live shows:
Must see in DHS - Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular
Must see in Animal Kingdom - Lion King
Must see in Magic Kingdom - Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire
Must see in EPCOT - Matsuriza

Here's my list:

DHS: Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular (it has some loud effects) and Frozen Ever After (your kid will enjoy it and the humor is great for adults). Beauty and the Beast is pretty good but not something I have to do more than once per trip. I'm planning on finally seeing Lightning McQueen's show on my next trip but I expect a 4 year old would enjoy it.

AK: Lion King, Finding Nemo (I haven't seen the new version yet but loved the old one), and the Feathered Friends in Flight show is also fun if anyone likes birds.

EPCOT: American Adventure and the Circle Vision films (Canada and China). I also like both of the shows in France.

MK: Enchanted Tiki Room, Country Bears Jamboree, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Carousel of Progress, and The Hall of Presidents (especially if you need to sit down for a while)

DHS: Muppets especially for a kid.

AK: Lion King and Nemo are exceptional. Arguably the best two shows in WDW.

Epcot: American Adventure, although maybe not for a four year old. My wife was so touched by its hopeful message, in this less than hopeful world, she cried!

MK: Mickey's Philharmagic for sure. Carousel of Progress is a personal favourite and whilst it is old, it is one of Walt's own creations - my kids really enjoyed it and that surprised me (aged 8 and 11).

With a 4 yo, my list is different than if it was just adults.

DHS: Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, its long, but lots of action Frozen Ever After kids love it and has adult humor. Beauty and the Beast optional if a 4 yo boy, girl, definitely.
Lightning McQueen's show , your 4 yo will love it.

AK: Lion King, Finding Nemo 2 of the best shows at WDW .

EPCOT: with a 4 yo, Crush in The Seas with Nemo. They will want to see it again.

MK: Enchanted Tiki Room, Country Bears Jamboree, Mickey's PhilharMagic,

DHS: Frozen and Beauty and the Beast

AK: Lion King

MK: Country Bear Jamboree and Carousel of Progress (classics but might bore a 4 year old)

Not sure if Indiana Jones and Finding Nemo are a great fit for a 4 year old. Depends on the 4 year old.

But the air conditioning and shade (Beauty and the Beast) can be valuable in the summer heat. Definitely.

Not mentioned yet, but my kids loooooved monters inc laugh floor. Had to do it again on our second day because my oldest wanted to get picked for a question so bad, and wouldn't ya know, they came and asked me so I shifted attention to her so she could respond She was over the moon for the rest of the night.

MK ~ Country Bear is hokey but cute if you've never seen. Minimal wait, short show. Carousel of Progress is so old school and we rarely do it but if you've never seen it ~ retro fun, old school animatronics and even the little can find it fun. Mickey's Philharmonic is good especially with new additions.

Epcot ~ The little will like Crush in the Seas, won't take up too much time. I would look for some of the street entertainment here, look at the schedule on arrival. I think that is better than most the "shows".

DHS ~ While I have seen Beauty & Beast too many times, I just saw in October and honestly it is top quality and will be enjoyed by all. The Indiana Jones show is fun action, rest your fee and enjoy.

AK ~ Festival of Lion King and Nemo shows are TOP quality performances. Again here I like to take time to enjoy the street entertainment. Check the schedule, great music, dancing and energy.
