Shows in the parks at night, which one?

Who has the better evening entertainment now, AK or HS? Which park would you choose based on their shows at night between these two. Not doing Epcot, but will do MK and one other park at night.

If you love fireworks then AK will be a bust, there are none. For fireworks, HS
If you are one of the few that appreciates the dancing fountains in Epcot and don't need all the big flashy stuff then AK
Us, we'd pick AK. We really like the show

I am thinking my husband would like HS as well as the kids going. Haven't seen Fantasmic in like ten years, but you really have my interest in Rivers of Light now.

HS and it's not even close when being compared with AK.

Star Wars nighttime show is right up there with Happily Ever After. Fantasmic is great as well

River of Lights, you should see it at least once, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

Wife and I will purposely make a trip over to HS at night just to see the Star Wars show

Ok, kinda leaning back towards HS now. I just think the kids and husband will really like the Star Wars show, maybe? I'm no Star Wars fan, but I know that Disney most likely puts on a awesome show with it.

That's a tough one, both are fantastic and you really can't go wrong. Rivers of Light is beautiful and very well done, really fits the vibe of AK. You also get the Tree of Life awakenings which are great and seeing Pandora at night is nice. The Star Wars show is great, though there aren't a whole ton of fireworks, more projections and light/fire effects, so if you aren't into the movies it may not be as exciting. Fantasmic is also a good, classic Disney show. I'd likely pick AK personally if I had to choose, but AK is my favorite park in general and it is infinitely better at night.

Ohhhhhhh, Pandora at night, forgot about that one. That settles it, that makes a difference.

Even if you don't like Star Wars or haven't seen them, you'll still enjoy the show. Your husband will love the show since he's a SW fan. It's mainly projections and effects but there still is quite a few fireworks

Rivers of light could not have been a bigger waste of time. Of everything ive ever done at wdw that is the single most boring thing I've ever watched.

Clearly a lot of varied opinions here so only you can decide what is best. You might want to have a look at some YouTube videos to get a rough idea but keep in mind that a video is nowhere as near as exciting as seeing things live. Personally, I would choose F! I really liked Rivers of Light but I wouldn’t choose it over F! and Star Wars was a one and done for me.

We really like RoL and frankly at this point we've seen 6 of the nighttime shows and F! was the only one we didn't enjoy, For us F! was seriously a waste of time. So much so that I'm having a hard time convincing dh that we should give the DL version of F! a shot on a trip later this year (seriously five days in DL there's no real time constraints it seems weird to me not to do both of the evening offerings, but he's pretty sure he'd rather sit somewhere and have a churro than watch F! again).

River of Lights and Pandora at night are both a lot of nice colored lights and music, but by no means does it compare to the entertainment value at DHS. Fantasmic is a great show and Star Wars is a must do for any Star Wars fan.

No doubt about it, HS has a better night time show than AK. I like rol, but it's not exciting, it's calm. My dh gets bored after 5 min of rol. Ds and I enjoy it, but it's certainly not our favorite.

I wouldn't go see F! any other way. Well actually we do the meal plan since we're gonna eat anyway
But that's because I don't waste time on things I don't enjoy. I do not like F! On the rare occasion we'll bother to watch it (to see if it can change my mind and I can figure out what in the heck others see on it), it's using the dinning package. If not that I would use a FP.

Of course I also can't figure out why folks can't see the beauty in RoL. I can only assume they also don't stop to watch the fountains at Epcot, if they even realize they dance
