Are they worth seeing? Would a 6 year old find them boring? We have all day at IOA Friday and since he isnt tall enough for the 3 major rides I am sure we will have plenty of time. I havent heard anything rly about the shows at all. Any help be appreciated to give me an idea about what it is.

See Beetlejuice for sure...it's awesome!

If the kid likes animals, check out the animal actors stage too.

Beetlejuice is at Universal, not IOA ;)

Sinbad is a good show, you could also count Poseidon's Fury as a show/walkthrough attraction (but note there is some darkness, loud noises and fire/water effects)

The effects @ SINBAD are pretty loud also! But he should be fine:thumbsup2

I agree Sinbad is a fun show to watch and just take a rest off your feet! Another thing to see would be the super heros who ride in on cars some time near the Spiderman ride.

I remember going not long after IOA opened and they had a kiddie show with some of the comic strip characters and Bullwinkle characters at the theatre between Marvel and Toon Lagoon. I never did get a chance to see it tho. :(

I saw it *once*.

It wasn't that great.

Just make sure you give him some time in Camp Jurassic. Although, there is a chance you may not see him for the rest of the vacation :goodvibes When our kids were your child's age, we would have to budget at least an hour or two for both Camp Jurassic in IOA and Curious George in Universal.

Camp Jurassic is a wonderful playground with rope bridges, hideouts and waterguns. Oh yeah, make sure he is in clothes that can get wet.

Another non-ride, 6 year old special is bring a roll of quarters to put in the water guns at Popeye. Nothing more fun for a young boy than to shoot water cannons at the people who might have escaped getting totally soaked on the Popeye ride. Make it his mission to not allow anybody to get off Popeye dry :teeth:

It is all a 6 year old needs to keep him busy for hours at a time!

Thanks! I have actually been to Universal 10+ times since I was a kid and I have never been to the Curious George. I am actually looking forward to that. We will definately check out the Jurassic also. I got the Express pass at Universal so I leave enough time to do the playground etc since knowing him it will be his favorite thing. I will have to dig some quarters up so he can squirt people I didnt know about this one have not been to that part of the park yet either. Thanks again for help!
