Yes. Monday is the slowest day of the week.

Night shows begin with an 8:15 Sealions tonight, then a 9:15 Shamu Rocks followed by a 9:50 Reflections fireworks show. The show schedule is very light to start off summer because they are not expecting alot of people. So you only get 1 shamu rocks show and 1 sealions tonight show when there are usually two during the summer. I would come back around 7pm that way you have enough time to get to Sealions tonight before it fills up because of there only being 1 show. And then after the Sealions tonight show, everyone will probably all move as a mass crowd over to Shamu stadium for the Shamu Rocks show. You will have 30 minutes after the Sealions tonight show to get to Shamu Stadium. It should only take you about 5-10 minutes to get there.

Also, the shows at night are different from the daytime shows, so you may want to try to see the daytime show of Clyde and Seamore (Sealions) and Believe (Shamu).

Ok so you think I will be able to fit in all the other daytime shows before leaving for a break?? Believe, Blue Horizons, Clyde and Seamore, A'lure, Pet's Ahoy...are these all must see shows. We can go back on Tuesday for the afternoon if we have to......
Thanks!!!

It will be a slow day, but thats slow for a summer season. Expect around 20,000 people in the park. How important are exhibits and rides to you and the people your going with? You should plan your day around the shows to visit exhibits and rides if you decide to stay all day. Because its summer, even if you go on the slowest day of the year, Seaworld could easily be an all day park if your including exhibits and rides. If your doing just shows, then yes break in between the day and come back to do exhibits and rides on Tuesday. There is so much to see and do. The Pets Ahoy show and the A'lure show are indoor theaters. That could be your break from the hot Florida sun. There are also nice places to eat indoors like Voyagers smokehouse.

As far as shows, A'lure isnt really a must see. Unless you like acrobatics. There are no animals in this show. Its kind of like a cirque show. The others are definitely must see shows in my opinion. Its important to decide which show you want to see the most. You should do that show first thing in the morning. Reason being, is the Florida summer weather is so unpredictable. If it thunderstorms, you may risk having a show cancellation of Believe, Blue Horizons or Clyde and Seamore. Pets Ahoy and A'lure will be fine since they are indoors. Shows are canceled if there is lightning. Rain is ok. All shows are covered so dont worry about rain.

If your doing a just show day. With no exhibits or rides, I would do all the outdoor shows first thing in the morning because it usually rains in the afternoon. Here is a show schedule for a Monday in June...... I would do a 10:00 Blue Horizons, 11:15 Clyde and Seamore. 12:30 Believe. That way all your outdoor shows are done in the morning. Then a 1:15 A'lure and 3:15 Pets Ahoy. Out of the gate at 4:00. Come back around 7:00-7:30ish for the night shows. Each show is about 20-30 minutes.

I would suggest that you see all shows before seeing Sealions tonight. Sealions tonight is a funny spoof of all the Seaworld shows. And its hilarious if youve seen the afternoon shows. But its hard to understand if you havent seen the afternoon shows yet.

Any other ?s just ask! :)

Awesome. You have been so helpful. It sounds like the best thing for us if we want to take a break will be to concentrate on shows on Monday.

It will be me, dh, dd3 and dd's cousin who is 18.

I know once we see happy harbour little one will want to play there for a while too...

Feeding dolphins at the cove we should do first thing? we plan on being there right at opening.

With a 3 year old you will probably want to make time for the Sesame Street show. I think it features Abby and Elmo. but the rest of the gang is there. Last summer it was in the Pet's Ahoy theater so you really have to look at times for each show.

I would do the 4 main shows(Blue Horizon, Believe, Clyde and Seamore, and Pet's Ahoy before going to see Sea Lions tonight because it makes fun of the other shows and it will be funnier if you have seen them.

It is hard to take a break and go elsewhere at SW because of the scheduling of the shows. Also sometimes parking can be a problem when returning. Cool areas to go during naptime- find a spot on the floor of the Manatees exhibit, the penguin house, or down in the animal area of Wild Arctic. Can't bring the stroller in but lots of people throw down a blanket and sit againstr a wall out of the way while kids are sleeping on the floor.

Last year in June we were there from 9AM(after an hour drive to the park) until 10:30 and my 2 1/2 year old niece only fell asleep for about 15 minutes in the stroller and had a blast. She loved everything about the park.

Oh yes I had for sure had down to see the Elmo show..

I truly wish mine would nap like that but I dont see that happening...we have to fight her at home on weekends to go down for nap...which I know the heat and stuff will make a difference..

We just planned on going back to our room at HGVC sea world right across street to swim or something and cool off before heading back for night shows.

I guess for the most part we will just have to roll with the punches with a 3 year old..but I did want to have somewhat of a plan...

Tell me again where the pearl diving is??? do you know???

Im happy to help! :)

I would definitely come back on Tuesday to do all the other exhibits and rides. Happy Harbor for your daughter could take hours! Theres alot for her to do including rides for little kids. Her cousin will love Manta. Its such an awesome coaster. There is an aquarium at Manta that your young daughter can visit while her cousin rides Manta. Alot of cool fish, Stingrays and even an Octopus!

You could fit the Dolphin feeding in on Monday if you choose. If you get there at 9am opening, you could shoot straight over there to feed dolphins. Im not 100% sure when that opens but it should be 9:00am when the park opens. The dolphin Cove is right next to Blue Horizons, so it will be an easy walk to the 10:00 show if you choose to go that route.

You had a question about Pearl diving. Pearl diving is located right outside the Sealion and Otter stadium. Also near the Pets Ahoy Theater. For a fee, you can pick an oyster at the bottom of a tank and there are 2 or 3 divers that will dive down and pick up the oyster for you and bring it up to open it. You get whatever is inside. Each Oyster is guaranteed to have a pearl. Sometimes if your REALLY lucky, you get two pearls inside the oyster. There are different types of pearls too. Some rarer that others and some more valuable than others. But I believe its all the same cost for an oyster no matter how rare the pearl or if you get two. Its cool to check out. And since its close to two show locations, it may be something your interested in doing before you see Clyde and Seamore or Pets Ahoy.

Hope you have a great time! Let us know how your trip went when you return!
