Here is a "silly" question about e-rings and wedding bands. I have a promise ring right now that i wear everyday, but usually once I'm home for the day I take it off. And of course when i'm cleaning, swimming or sleeping it is off. Do ya'll wear your e-rings and wedding bands 24/7???

I wear my constantly including in the shower, pool, ocean, etc. I took it off once to put sunscreen on my DF on our vacation last week and freaked out because I forgot to put it back on. By the grace of God it was still right where I left it, but I've vowed that I will continue to wear it constantly so that I don't end up with a scare like that again.

I wear mine basicly 24/7 I only take it off if I'm handeling meats or working on the car.
Basicly I take it off for tough work heh.
I do wear it to the beach or pool, not a good idea though. Cooler water can cause your fingers to reduce in size by a small amount causing rings to come off when your not paying attention. Its like one of the # one way people loose their rings I think.

I love looking at all your rings, I wear two eternity rings and a wedding band. (I know strange, but they look so nice together!)
I still have my e-ring but dont wear it now.

I wear my ring most of the time I'm awake. I dont wear my jewlery to bed, and I dont wear my rings while I'm washing dishes, showering, using harsh cleaning products, or going swimming.

My wedding band is a plain platinum band and I never take it off (I accidentally took it off right when we were first married and DH freaked out!). My e-ring I take off when I'm cleaning, washing the car, washing my hair, etc. As far as sleeping, sometimes I wear it, sometimes I take it off and there's no rhyme or reason to it, just depends on what I was doing and if I had it off before I went to bed.

The scariest thing was the morning after our wedding, we left our room to go to our brunch and I had a ring on my finger (my wedding ring) and didn't think anything of it until I looked down and didn't see my e-ring! I wasn't used to wearing 2 rings. I ran back to the room and the maid was already in there but it was right where I left it - WHEW!!

I pretty much wear both of mine every day. Somedays i don't feel like wearing them both, (i work in NYC so i don't like wearing them taking the subway or if it's a hot day it's just too much to wear) but i will wear them all day. SOmetimes i take my e-ring off to go to sleep at night and sometiems I don't, for the most part i wear them all the time, in the pool, shower, etc, but if i'm doign something rough, like going to the gym or something, i don't wear them...

I take mine off at night and for heavy work - like last week when we moved. We got my ring in the Cayman Islands and the salesman recommended I wear it and get the tan line before we had to clear customs , but the next day we were on a snorkeling trip & one of the crew told us a story that inspired me to take it off around water: she used to teach scuba diving at an indoor pool & one of her students lost the diamond out of her e-ring in the pool during class. It ended up becoming the class project for the day and everyone had to dive to find this stone, which they did about 6 hours later during a different class. I think I looked down to make sure I had all my stones every 2 minutes during that snorkeling trip!
