Mine is an oval cut pink sapphire with a diamond on either side set in white gold.

Ok, here goes nothing:

We just picked this out on Friday night, so I don't actually have the ring yet. The pic shows a round-cut center stone, but mine will be fitted with a princess-cut. Also, we did not opt for the matching band, since we will have plain, solid bands (religious tradition). I wanted a bit more sparkle in the e-ring because of that. The total carat weight is 1.5.

Will update with better pics later.

This was the night I got my ring....the pic is a little blurry, sorry about that!

The ring is a little over 2.0 carats, set in platinum. For my wedding band, we are going to do a platinum diamond eternity band! I can't wait to get it!!!

He proposed! I can finally add to this thread. Here's a picture of my e-ring. I don't have a pic on my hand right now cause I can't upload photos on my computer yet. Gotta work on that.

The center stone is a 1 carat emerald cut, with baquette sides and princess cut diamonds along the sides (2 carat tw) in 18k white gold. I want a princess cut band to match. I love it!!!!

We are going to do the small ceremony this summer and then do the intimate vow renewal (our "real" wedding) at Disney in December. I'm sooo excited. I can't wait!

I finally have my ring in my possession and I couldn't be happier!! I am so in love with it!! This might sound totally silly, but the more I look at it, the more I love it!! (This is my first 'real' piece of jewelry. I've never really been a jewelry type of girl - but I warned DH2B, I think that's all about to change! )

An angled view of the setting - this is my favorite part of the ring. I love the way the gold comes up to meet the diamond as opposed to the solitaires that are raised way above the ring (not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just not my preference )

I love that setting also for a similar reason, and I have a setting like it!
