Here's one of a fountain I took on our recent trip to Charleston, SC
...and now for something completely different...

It's running water, no?![]()
OMG....
So true,
LOL... funny!
Not out of place, TheLionKing. Can you tell us more about the shot?

Sure thing. That was taken with my 31mm F1.8 lens, ISO 200 (probably because I had dynamic range enhancement on), F16, 10 seconds, +1/2 exposure compensation, aperture priority mode. Taken from a tripod, of course. I usually don't use anything as high as F16 but I think I was trying to go for a longer shutter speed to smooth out the water (I don't think I even thought about the windmill spinning in the background! a happy accident). My only regret is that I'm still not happy with the color of the rocks... but I just couldn't get anything satisfactory without throwing the entire background (which is lit by different color temperature lights) out of whack, so I eventually just went with what you see.Can you tell us what your camera settings are?
), grab the Fxif add-on. If you use IE, grab the Opanda Exif Viewer (there may be others too, but I don't use IE so I'm not sure). These let you right-click a photo on a web page and you'll see the exif data.
ReAnSt: IIRC, the King Triton statue is right next to the castle, on a side walkway... to the right I think? I'm sure NostalgicDad can tell you off the top of his head.![]()
(It's tough to get that silky water effect in bright, mid-day sunlight so pardon the overexposed areas
)
